My antennae will break like some relics from a long forgotten place
"He's a bug!!!" they will say when I build my own cocoon today
I've got a nice tree branch beside me
And a nice chrysalis to hide me

i waste time wasting all my daylight just to be awake at night
that's okay, I'm fuckin with this lifestyle nothing really bums me out
my front porch used to have a bathtub now it only has some chairs
my driveway is paved with pretty gravel but my feet are bare
i waited four whole weeks for a package from amazon dot com
i never thought to just call them up and ask them what went wrong
they're just people who are living life and working at their jobs
it's not my place to get mad at them or even care at all
this black hole eats up all my matter just like everybody wants it to
but sometimes, if i'm to be honest, i want to be consumed too
*ahem*

I bought a pound of tasty ginger chews today
They're nearly all gone and I'm a little bit ashamed.
I'm not good at keeping pace while I fill my face, garbage tossed around the place
If you are what you eat then I'm a chewy ginger treat
no other candy's got me beat

....the bag is empty. wrappers gather at my feet.

it's fair to say i won today
this marble floor is scaring me away from all my plants and all my friends are waiting there
i make it hard to figure out the ups downs and daily bouts of feeling like i wanna climb away from my own skin

soup bowls and veggie slicers clutter up the shelves but we'll clean it in the morn

phone notes will be our guides and lead us down the trail but they won't have a good idea

my father cracked a tile again
i wasn't sure if i could fix it this time
i didnt have my tool belt, just my skin
good thing i'm made of copper on the inside
i've got a bunch of wires in my head
they're all pretty tangled but on the plus side
i never seem to short out anymore and even if i did i wouldnt notice
i am conductive on my own
my voltage isn't keeping me at home
and when my circuits are soldered shut
capacitance has left the empty sockets
now i'm shocked and feeling great
